| My father started the tradition of archery hunting in my family many years ago. From his experience he knows how difficult it is to take an animal with a bow, so I grew up hearing him tell my brothers and me to "pick a spot". To us and possibly those who are familiar with bow hunting it meant that if we did have a chance for a shot at an animal we should not shoot looking at the entire animal but that we should "pick a spot" on the animal that would show good arrow placement and a sure success. This of course is only possible with great archery equipment and lots of practice. So once you have purchased your compound bow and archery accessories whether you are target practicing or out hunting we encourage you to "PICK A SPOT"!! |
